이 책은 금리와 중앙은행, 정책, 외환 및 환율, 유가, 고용등 다양한 거시 경제 변수, 주식 및 채권 파생 상품 등의 대표성을 지닌 영국의 주간지 The Economist의 심층 리포팅 기사 20개를 큐레이션으로 구성하고 있다. 

책의 표지는 그래프를 시각화하여 타이포그래피를 통해 표현하였으며 이 책의 전 버전인 테크 비즈니스 편과의 유사성을 유지하기 위해 책의 크기, 제목의 서체와 위치를 비슷한 느낌으로 배치하였다. 내지는 기사와 번역문을 좌우 대면으로 배치하여 각 영문 기사에 대응하는 번역문을 편리하게 확인 할 수 있게 하였으며 가독성을 위해 자칫 복잡해 질 수 있는 본문 내용의 위계를 최대한 단순하게 구성하였다.
