문화도시칠곡의 성과 연감은 법정문화도시로 선정된 칠곡의 문화 사업 을 여는 첫해의 성과를 기록한 책으로 특히 인문 문화를 형성하는 과정을 담고있다. 따라서 칠곡민과 함께 1년간 진행해 왔던 칠곡문화관광재단의 발자취를 기록하고 있으며 단순한 연감을 넘어 1년을 기록한 아카이브북으로 구성되어 있다.

책의 표지는 칠곡의 상징인 매화를 그래픽화 하였으며 자취, 혹은 흔적을 남긴다라는 의미를 패턴 그래픽을 통해 표현하고 있다. 내지는 각 사업 설명과 성과 그리고 사진으로 이루어져있으며, 내지 종이의 질감이나 사진의 보정을 추억의 향취가 느껴질 수 있도록 신경썼다.
